📱 Enabling Camera & Microphone Permissions from Device Settings

Simple instructions to turn on camera and microphone access from your phone’s settings.

To use IrisCX video, your browser must have permission to access your camera and microphone. While some browsers let you adjust these settings from the address bar, the steps vary depending on your device and browser version. The most reliable method is to enable permissions directly from your device settings:

📱 On iPhone (iOS): Safari, Chrome, Edge

  1. Open your Settings app.

  2. Scroll down to Apps

  3. Select your browser (Safari, Chrome, or Edge).

  4. Toggle Camera on.

  5. Toggle Microphone on.

    

 

📱 On Android (Chrome, Edge)

  1. Open your Settings app.

  2. Go to Apps (or App Management).

  3. Select your browser (Chrome or Edge).

  4. Tap Permissions.

  5. Toggle Camera and Microphone to Allow.

👉 Once enabled at the device level, your browser will be able to grant site-specific permissions when prompted.
