Adding IrisCX to your Mobile Device

How to add IrisCX to the home screen of your mobile device so it acts like an app

IrisCX is a video platform that uses AI and AR built-in functionalities to remotely diagnose, solve problems, and share insights. IrisCX connects service experts from their computers with an end-customer mobile phone, allowing service experts to see what the customer sees. Our goal is to simplify remote diagnosis and potentially solve the customer’s issue without a physical appointment.

IrisCX is a browser-based application, meaning you can access it from any device including your computer, your tablet, and your mobile phone.

  • For iPhones, open Safari, and go to your IrisCX workspace
  • For Androids, open Google Chrome, and go to your IrisCX workspace

On Android Device

  1. Launch the Chrome browser on your mobile device
  2. Enter your workspace URL (e.g. https://yourcompany.iriscx.com)
  3. Tap the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen to open the menu
  4. Select Add to Home Screen
  5. You’ll be prompted to name the shortcut before adding it
  6. Tap "Add" to add the shortcut to your home screen

On iOS Device

  1. Launch the Safari browser on your mobile device
  2. Enter your workspace URL (e.g. https://yourcompany.iriscx.com)
  3. Look for the share icon at the bottom of the screen (it looks like a square with an arrow pointing out of the top)
  4. Select Add to Home Screen
  5. You will have the option to name the shortcut before adding it
  6. Tap "Add" in the upper-right corner of the screen to add the shortcut to your home screen
